23 things



this was going to be a list of 100 things but that seems an awful lot of information to inflict, so until i'm brave enough to go that far here's 23 things and other stuff.

1. i live in london but i'm not a londoner born and bred
2. i grew up somewhere further north and far more rural
3. but in 1975 i was born somewhere far more industrial
4. i'm shorter than the average bear but then so are most people - i'm shorter than them too
5. five eight years ago i didn't know how to turn a computer on
6. i worked it all out for myself and now i have trouble turning them off
7. i'm the middle of three offspring
8. but the only one to be left handed and vegetarian
9. i've been some nice places but i'm not as well travelled as i'd like to be
10. i read, knit, blog, cook, walk, watch, stop, look and listen in my spare time
11. and tune in to radio 4 at some point every day
12. tea is required within 30 minutes of waking up
13. and coffee is required within 30 minutes of getting to work but caffeine intake is kept to a minimum
14. i used to play some instruments
15. and if i had the space and the money i'd buy a piano
16. i've never been any good at learning the rules to card games
17. or learning to drive, although i eventually got a driving license
18. i'm a good navigator instead
19. spring is magnolia trees
20. summer is festivals
21. autumn is conkers
22. and winter is snow
23. is my favourite number
